The AT Support Request is for students whose assistive technology needs cannot be met with tools and resources available at the school level.

Before starting this process, it is recommended to first collaborate with the ACT team leader to see if there are strategies or tools that could be considered at your school.  This should be done prior to the IEP meeting.

If the needs can not be met at the school level, follow the  AT Process defined step by step below.

What is Needed to Begin the At Process?

1. When developing the IEP, each team must consider AT devices and services under "Special Considerations":

Document the AT support request in the Prior Written Notice, and Special Considerations (Assistive Technology)

2. If the student's needs are not able to be met at the school level, complete a AT Support Request
