If you are experiencing issues with your account here are some tips and tools to help.

Staff accounts

  • Password Reset Service - enrollment is required prior to using the services
    • Also available from a number of locations - Employee Portal, FCPS eMail, and FCPS device login screen
    • Unlock a locked account
    • Reset a password when the current password is unknown
    • Password requirements - see the sidebar on this page

Student accounts

  • Students will have to see their school's User Support Specialist or equivalent to manage account issues

Password Requirements

  • Can't be any of your last 10 passwords
  • Can't contain account name or parts of user full name that exceed two consecutive characters
  • Must be at least eight characters in length
  • Must contain at least one character from at least three of the following four categories
    • English uppercase characters (A through Z)
    • English lowercase characters (a through z)
    • Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
    • Non-alphabetic “special” characters (for example: !$#%)
