Middle and high schools offer summer remedial and credit courses for FCPS students. Regular summer school is offered to middle school students who need to repeat or review a core course taken during the school year. High school students can make up a failing grade, have an opportunity to improve a previously earned grade, or earn credit for a course not taken. High school students may also attend to retake the HSA or complete a Bridge Project. Information about courses, locations and fees is available in the spring from school counselors.

Frederick County Virtual School:

*NOTE: Some courses are NOT for original credit- must have an existing transcript grade (C or higher) except for potential summer graduates) Please email your counselor, if you have any questions.
