Career and Technology Center Students interested in shadowing at CTC should stop by the Guidance Office (See Mrs. Harding) to request an appointment. IT is important if you have a shadow appointment that you attend on your scheduled date. You will not be able to reschedule missed shadows. Please see Mrs. Harding in the Guidance Office if you are interested in shadowing and to turn in your application by the deadline date.

ASVAB - The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is the most widely used multiple-aptitude test battery in the world. As an aptitude test, the ASVAB measures your strengths, weaknesses, and potential for future success. The ASVAB also provides you with career information for various civilian and military occupations and is an indicator for success in future endeavors whether you choose to go to college, vocational school, or a military career. The ASVAB will be administered once a year to any interested OHS students (Grades 10-12) for free during the school day. If you are interested in participating, please see Mrs. Harding in the Guidance Office.

Selective Service - Under Federal Law, virtually all men must register with Selective Service within 30 days of their 18th birthday. Men are eligible to register at 17 years and 3 months.  Students can register at www.sss.gov

Military Opt Out - On the Confidential Student Information Cards in an area to state your preference. Your preference is only good for one year and you must update your information each year for the student to remain on the Opt Out List.
