GUIDELINES FOR SERVICE LEARNING PROJECTS

As a middle or high school FCPS student, you have an opportunity to contribute to your community, grow as a citizen, and receive recognition by participating in volunteer and community service activities outside the regular classroom. Follow the Volunteer Hours & Community Service guidelines and complete the attached form at the link below (one form per type of project) and turn in to Mrs. Cook  (hours may be submitted to her attention at the front office). You may also scan and email completed forms to Mrs. Cook. Please note that these forms no longer require pre-approval. Please refer to the guidelines in the form and the Service Learning Do’s and Don’ts to be sure your volunteer hours will count for Service Learning credit. Up to 25 Student Service Learning hours earned in middle school can be applied to high school Student Service Learning hours.
