Principal's Message
Tuscarora Students and Families,
Tuscarora Elementary School will open its doors on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 to welcome in the school year for the 20th time! That is right, Tuscarora Elementary School is 20 years old this school year. We look forward to a great 20th year and set the stage for what’s to come for Tuscarora in the future.
I have enjoyed my past 23 years serving in a variety of capacities in education and I know year 24 will be just as wonderful. While my role each day at Tuscarora is that of the school principal, like many of you, I have an additional hat I wear as a mother to four pretty amazing children. My children range from elementary to high school and are a reminder of my daily commitment to educating our youth. It is often noticed that I treat the children I serve like my own. I would not want anything less than the best for my personal children, and therefore, I will do the same for your children.
As a staff we are excited for the curricula we are instructing our students to be fluent readers, successful writers, and precise mathematicians. Students engage in physical education and the arts each week, as well as have opportunities to socialize with their peers during informal settings such as recess and lunch. With your partnership, we expect continued student progress.
