Open House: Monday, August 19th from 3-4

Please stop by between 3:00 and 4:00 to meet your child's teacher and drop off any supplies.

How will I know who my child's teacher will be?

Schedule Emails/Schoology Course Release Dates:

• Wednesday, August 7, 2024 – Schoology courses will be visible to students and parents – information available: Course Name - Period - Teacher Name- Room Number – Section

• Wednesday, August 7, 2024 – Systemic email sent to primary and secondary guardians with student schedules included (Emails are sent starting at 4:00 p.m.)

If you do not receive your email by August 8th by 5:00 P.M, please call the school on the 12th. It can take time for all of these systemic emails to be sent and delivered.

Back to School Night: 

Thursday, August 29th. 6:00-7:15. This is a event to hear more about your child's classroom and expecations for the year. A more detailed schedule will be coming out later.

Greetings Roo Families,

I am excited to share that our school will complete the large majority of our renovation project this summer. Our school is one of three FCPS elementary schools that will be renovated. 

As a result of the renovations, our building will be closed for all staff, students, and community members. In an effort to provide you with support throughout the summer, our front office staff and custodial crews will be working at an alternative location.

This summer, SRES front office staff will be working at TJ Middle School located at (1799 Schifferstadt Blvd, Frederick, MD 21701) Similar to years past, SRES staff will be available at our summer business locations Monday through Thursday from (8:00 - 3:00). Please call to schedule an appointment due to vacations and meetings. 

(SRES) staff will also be available via phone and email.

• After July 1, 2024 our new number will be 227-203-1340 and the fax number will be 227-203-1341

We encourage our community to continue monitoring emails and check the (SRES) website for important updates and information throughout the summer. We are excited for the renovation project and look forward to welcoming our students, staff, and community back to a newly renovated building for the start of the 2024-25 school year.
