Title I schools are identified based on the percentage of students who attend a specific school that receive Free and Reduced Meals.
Income eligibility for Lincoln Elementary was determined based on the student’s 2023 - 2024 Free and Reduced-priced Meals application.

Title I funds are used to increase students' achievement; not just for those students who qualify for Free and Reduced Meals.

Federal government provides money with hopes of "leveling the playing field" for all students and families.

The Title I program will provide additional resources to support the achievement of all students as set in our School Improvement Plan.  This means teachers have more instructional support in the classroom, additional academic materials for students, and training programs for families.  Click on the links below for further information about the Family Involvement Plan/Home-School Compact/School Improvement Plan and the yearly scheduled events for families.

Families also have the opportunity to help the school by giving feedback through completing surveys and evaluations at events, joining the School Improvement Team, joining the Family Involvement Committee to work on the Family Involvement Policy, write the Home-School compact, provide input and suggestions for the Family Involvement Budget, and provide information to school staff to strengthen the partnership between home and school.  For more information about ways to volunteer at Lincoln or to view the Volunteer Orientation presentation, please click on the link below.

Title I families have the right to request information about the professional qualification of their child's classroom teacher and complaint resolution if they have a concern or disagreement with a decision made about their child's instruction, discipline, safety or other matter.
