WKMS Open House
August 15, 2023
WKMS staff will be hosting an Open House for students and families on August 15, 2023.
8:00 – 11:30am - 6th Grade Students and Any Students New to WKMS
12:30 – 4:00pm - Returning 7th and 8th Grade Students
While the WKMS Open House is an informal event, it will give students an opportunity to
receive a hard copy of their schedule and a school map in order to further familiarize themselves with our school building
and be able to find the best travel route between their classrooms.
WKMS administrators, counselors, support staff and Peer Ambassadors will be available to answer questions.
Again, this is an informal activity, so feel free to visit WKMS at any time during the appropriate time slot.

Schedules will be available on August 16, 2023 at 4:00pm through Schoology for any student unable to attend the WKMS Open House.
WKMS Back-to-School Night
August 21, 2023
5:00pm – 7:30pm
WKMS staff will be hosting our Back-to-School Night on August 21, 2023 from 5:00pm – 7:30pm.
This is a family engagement night designed to foster relationships between students, families, and the WKMS staff.
Food trucks, games, and other activities are being planned for our community to connect with one another prior to the beginning of the 2023-24 school year.
There will also be an opportunity for you to meet our teachers and learn more about curriculum,
classroom expectations, and how to help our students be their best at WKMS.
