Frederick County Virtual School
The Frederick County Virtual School offers online courses during the school day, called Virtual-In-School (VIS), which students select during their regular cour registration, or outside of the school day, called Virtual-Outside-of-School (VOS), which students register for at a later time separately.

Career & Technology Center (CTC)
The Career & Technology Center is located in Frederick next to Frederick Community College. Students in these program attend CTC for half the day and MHS for half the day, with bus transportation provided from MHS to CTC and back.

Admissions to CTC and Shadowing a Program
Academy for the Fine Arts (AFA)
This program is at Governor Thomas Johnson High School (GTJHS) and students can attend the program half day at GTJHS and attend MHS the other half of the day, or transfer to GTJHS fulltime. Bus transportation is provided from MHS to GTJHS and back.

Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Core (NJROTC):
