GUIDELINES FOR SERVICE LEARNING PROJECTS

Service Learning - Best Practices
Step 1: Come up with a project idea and start completing the: Volunteer Hours & Community Service Instructions and Record Sheet. Please complete a form for each different project
Step 2: Plan and complete your project! Don’t forget to track your hours!!
Step 3: When the project is DONE, complete the questions about your volunteer experience. Student and project supervisor need to sign the form.
Step 4: Return the completed volunteer record sheet to Mrs. Irwin (guidance). She will total your hours and send them on to the high school when you enter 9th grade! Please ask her for a copy if you’d like one for your records.
