Dear Kemptown Community,
I am proud to serve this amazing school community as the Principal of Kemptown Elementary.
This is my 27th year in education and 23rd year in FCPS. I was a teacher at New Midway / Woodsboro and Hillcrest Elementary Schools. I became an Assistant Principal in 2017 at Urbana Elementary and have also served in the same role at Sugarloaf Elementary and Carroll Manor Elementary. I have also served as Acting Principal at both Sugarloaf Elementary and Blue Heron Elementary.
This year our theme is "Joy". I envision a school in which students are happy to be present daily, staff find happiness in their roles, and parents and the community are proud to call KES their community school.
