Heather Ridge welcomes all students and families and invites the Frederick Community to join us as we provide high quality instruction to our students.

Heather Ridge School is an educational program that provides an alternative to the traditional school. The structured environment, with additional therapeutic and behavioral staffing, makes Heather Ridge a supportive environment for students to practice skills for academic, behavioral, and emotional growth. Students, families and staff work collaboratively to set goals and develop skills to meet and practice those goals in order for students to make choices that will positively impact their educational career.

The Heather Ridge school day runs from 7:30 - 2:15.  Transportation is provided.    Following the FCPS curriculum, Heather Ridge offers a variety of courses for middle and high school students. Extended Learning Opportunities in the evening are available for tutoring.
