The middle school years are an exciting time for both students and parents. These years are full of growth and new challenges. Our administration, counselors, teachers and support staff are committed to providing a safe environment where every student can achieve academic excellence. We encourage our parents and guardians to stay involved in our school even when their child tells them they no longer want them to be involved. Active parent involvement only increases a child’s opportunity for academic success. There are many ways to stay involved:
- Know who are your child’s teachers and guidance counselor.
- Learn more about Crestwood Middle School by reading the Student Handbook found in the student agenda.
- Ask your child every day to tell you about their day at school.
- Check your child’s grades often using the online grading system, Schoology. If you need parental access please contact your child’s guidance counselor.
- Become an active member of our PTA. We have an effective PTA who works hard to support our students, their families and our staff. There are many volunteer opportunities throughout the year and we’d love to have you join us. Information about our PTA and volunteer opportunities can be accessed from our web site.
Please do not hesitate to contact us at any time. Parent conferences are encouraged any time during the year. Conferences should be pre-arranged directly with the teacher or through a guidance counselor.
