Myersville Elementary is atop the western ridge of the Catoctin Mountains, at the end of Main Street in a small-town community just off Interstate 70. As our staff, students and friends enter the building, they are treated to what some say is “the best view in Frederick County.”

Inside, visitors find a dedicated staff, most with an average of 20 years of experience, to educate and support our students. The teachers, support staff, students and parents work to achieve the Myersville Elementary mission: “Learning to be the best we can be.” During the school year as a part of our quarterly achievement celebrations, we recognize students for good attendance, academic accomplishments and for demonstrating the six "Character Counts!" “pillars:” trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship.

Our school radiates warmth and pride because of its dedicated, welcoming staff, strong community support, active parental involvement and eager-to-learn students -- always “learning to be the best we can be” here on the western edge of Frederick County.
